Paul Dove LTCL

Paul began his professional musical training at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall in 2001. Whilst there, he was awarded the Buffet Crampon Prize for best woodwind instrumentalist of the year. As a musician with The Corps of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Band, Paul performed as both a Clarinetist and Saxophonist in the Bandís many ensembles which included Wind Band, Big Band, Soul Band, Marching Band and Saxophone Quartet.

In 2012 Paul was assigned to The Band of The Royal Logistic Corps in Deepcut, Surrey performing as their principal clarinetist for a number of years. As a military musician, Paul has had the privilege of performing at some of the United Kingdomís most prestigious events including; Trooping of the Colour, Beating Retreat, The Classical Spectacular at The Royal Albert Hall and The Royal Edinburgh Tattoo to name but a few.

In January 2018, Paul began training to become a Bandmaster within the Corps of Army Music. He is currently a member of the Armistice Centenary Class at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall.

Paul was appointed the Musical Director of Bourne Concert Band in July 2018.
