Over 50 current and former members of the Bourne Concert Band enjoyed playing a programme of music conducted by the band's Deputy Conductor, Steve Waters and six former conductors. The celebration took place at Abbey Rangers Football Clubhouse and luckily a marquee had been ordered as it poured all afternoon and evening! Some former members had travelled long distances to attend and others dusted down their instruments after several years to join in the informal performance! A few hardy supporters braved the rain to listen but everyone agreed it was a thoroughly enjoyable event. The archives from the last twenty-five years were on display to help the reminiscing and after a barbeque meal, the evening continued with smaller groups performing well into the evening.
